11 ways to beat the Midwinter Blues;

Are you noticing that your winter has a way of expanding what you don't want and shrinking what you do want.?

11 key ways to manage your rollercoaster ride called life.

1. At work, rather than complaining about what you don’t like or what you are afraid might happen- Create yourself as someone who gives greater service. Ask what is expected and be more than that. Integrity is a beautiful thing.

2. In life, rather than kicking tyres and coming from a place of resistance-Accept what is sooner, and practise being more appreciative of what you do have. Gratitude always raises your vibe.

3. Highs and lows are opposites- If you are stuck in a low, identify what you did to put yourself there, and simply do the complete opposite. No I’m not trying to be sarcastic, it works. Start noting down plans for spring, it gives you something to look forward to.

4. If you are down on yourself; STOP. Look back through what you have achieved either in qualifications, visual evidence, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The list will surprise and inspire you to lift and get flowing again. You have worth-use it.

5. In love when things get sticky…as they do. Try not to win or complain. It's not a competition- be the 1st to make peace, to smooth things out. What will matter years from now? That you won a forgettable fight, or that you were known as being the one who is loving and forgiving? Connect with compassion, patience and always love, especially those closest to you.

6. Communications can easily be misinterpreted- Select your words in kindness not contempt. Listen with openness rather than acting as a one-sided opponent, connect with what I always refer to as the 3 Rs. Respect, Responsibility, and Reputation.

7. Feel your feet on the ground, place your hand on your heart, raise your head to the sky and open your mind to the present. Embrace today in a fresh eye’s morning way.
