4 Tips on Celebrating your year 4U

Good Morning - The Team at LYF 4U welcomes you. Thank you for being here. Ahh I can almost feel the xmas vibe coming on, and with it a time of reflection of the year.

MAREES WEEKLY QUOTE (join my fb page) We are always the same age inside (Gertrude Stein)

In life 1st comes the sensations or feelings, and then comes the learning or knowledge. Which is why life can seem full of unlearnt knowledge, and as if you are navigating a minefield. Lets use our ability to say no as an example; As the saying goes; You drink from the glass of life before you think to know what is in it exactly. It is only after something hits your reality tastebuds long enough that you really know if you like it or not, even if others are telling you it is great. The crazy thing is we can be edged into acting in ways we know better -later- even while knowing something is either good for us or not. Should have learnt the 1st time I hear you think in the morning while negotiating a life experience hangover... Ok cut yourself some slack- if we acted with deliberation all the time, life would become rather dull dont you think.. Wow, no wonder we struggle to make up our minds. And if we could make up our minds as easily as making our beds, we would learn that a good base is imperative even before you match your life to soft or hard preferences. Life is full of sensations, signals to guide you as you move through it. 1. Take the time to know yourself, what you do and dont like, then take that further and be true to yourself. You are creating your self masterpiece of life. 2. Say no or yes pending the situation. 3. Own it, and accept fully the consequences.. 4. Then do your very best to go have some fun with it, because you and I both know, there are no reruns, or do overs to it.. and besides , there is always tomorrow, or next year; and that rocking chair reminiscent phase, of age, will be all the more sweeter with a few juicy bits to chew on.
