Writer's picture: Maree McmanawayMaree Mcmanaway

Im keeping it short as sweet as you are busy with the silly season preparations;

MAREES QUOTE

Too much of a good thing can be wonderful. (mae West)

I have never agreed more than when sharing a smile.

MAREES WORD;

Joy is a feeling good feeeling.

It is a response to something good happening or something a person perceives as good. It's generally a connection, either with someone or something you love to do.

As I stood in one of the many ques yesterday, a small boy was in a shopping trolley.

Tired,, bored, scratchy-he was well over the "joys" of Christmas

 Oftentimes in the word Joy becomes a "yeah right" thought-

With the cost

Those who have passed

The extra time need to prepare ..

And so on....yet even as an adult with all your experiences,emotions ,if you look around there it is....

I gave this wee boy a smile...

Happily he accepted my smiles, and in a flash returned it, beaming one back to me with gusto!!

As we waited, we played a weird face game.

Mum was happy, he was happy, and so was I.

 All it took was to let us smile...and we shared a moment of joy- just like that.

Remember to give out as many smiles as you can.

They are free, easy and offer great returns.

 A wonderful way to bring Joy to anyone's day, including your own

And of course its best spread like sweet honey to all the corners of life ( including the ques) simply by smiling your body relaxes those stresses and eases your day.

Smile more, let's get more Joy from everyday life at Christmas.

With you all the way;
