Connection has never been easier and yet it is often the most difficult thing to obtain. While time has opened many doors, some men still hesitate in knocking.

In the many years LYF 4U has been in business I have coached both men and women..

At least half of the clients I have the privilege of walking alongside are men..

This month is Movember .

I will be focusing on a more masculine journey over this month as my way of supporting our awesome blokes out there. And there are plenty of you. As one of your Mo-Sistas.

Movember, the month formerly known as November, is when brave and selfless men around the world grow a moustache, and women step up to support them, all to raise awareness and funds for men's health - specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

It came about when two mates (Travis Garone and Luke Slattery) meet up for a quiet beer in Melbourne, Australia, and the idea that sparked Movember is born. The moustache had all but disappeared from fashion trends.

Now, Women can also get involved. Women who participate in Movember (called Mo Sistas) are dedicated to supporting the men in their lives by promoting the importance of men's health. Mo Sistas can start a team,or fundraise as well.Or simply take some time to stop, reflect and respond to their men in a more consciously aware way.. ..as we would want to be treated.

Basically a Mo-sista – they do everything Mo Bros do, they just don't grow a Mo!
